CED believes in approaching development and educational issues in Vietnam holistically by partnering with a multitude of experts. Our partnerships go beyond the traditional education and development sectors, and include working with private companies, government agencies, and international organizations. These partnerships allow us access to additional resources, expertise, and audiences to inspire private sectors stakeholders and our young people to become change makers.
Our stories
Raising Young People Awareness on Waste and Plastic Alternatives
From September 2025 to March 2026, a pilot plastic waste collection program was implemented in five primary and secondary schools in Da Nang. The initiative engaged more than 4,400 students and provided STEAM-based environmental education training to 159 teachers. It established on-site waste sorting and collection systems and collected nearly 4 tons of recyclable plastic waste over a six-month period. The pilot demonstrated strong positive behavior change among students and provides a solid foundation for scaling up the model citywide through coordinated, multi-stakeholder action.
